Bijou Cottage Amenities

Bijou Cottage was purchased by Burfield Investments property company in 2020. Bijou’s new owners have carefully and sympathetically refurbished the cottage throughout.

Please note, the staircase it quite steep and headspace is slightly limited at the top of the stairs.

Bijou Cottage is fully equipped for Self Catering

Kitchen & Dining area

Seating bench for two (with store cupboards), dining table (which can be extended to seat four) and two dining chairs.

Fridge (with ice box), dishwasher, washer/dryer, electric ceramic hob with oven/grill underneath. Extractor fan.

Kettle, toaster.

Plates, bowls, cups & saucers, mugs, glassware & cutlery.

Knife block, cooking utensils & pots, pans and baking trays.

Assorted china, bread bin, coffee pot, bread boards, chopping boards etc.

Tea towels, oven mitts, etc.

Dishwasher tablets, surface cleaner, cloths and washing tablets.

Salt & Pepper grinders.

Tea, coffee and sugar.

First Aid Kit.

Sitting room:

Free WIFI (which covers the whole property).

TV and DVD player.

Two seater sofa and armchair.

Writing/dining table.

Bedroom:

Double Bed – “Bedfolk” bed linen, duvet (hypoallergenic feather) and four pillows. Extra pillows/blankets available upon request.

Bedside lights, bedside tables, mirror, radio.

Double window blind incorporating a sheer for daytime use and blackout for night-time if required.

Travel cot available upon request.

Shower Room:

High powered overhead shower with adjustable attachment.

Loo and wash basin.

Large storage cupboard.

Egyptian cotton towels.

Garden: (catches the sun most of the day)

Lawn area with a bistro dining set and bench.
